Hi,

I have just updated to KDE 3 on a MDK 8.2 and I want to install licq on
this computer. I downloaded the daily snapshot. The first problem I met
was during the compilation of the QT plugin. It complained while doing
./configure not to be able to find the QT libraries. It turned out that
I forgot to install the libqt3-devel package. The error message could
be clearer and hint towards libqt3-devel.

But the main problem is that I'm still unable to complete the configure
step as I have the following error message.

checking for QT libraries... yes, lib: -lqt-mt in /usr/lib/qt3/lib
checking for QT includes... /usr/lib/qt3/include
checking for QT >= 2.1... yes
configure: WARNING: environment variable QTDIR is not set
checking for moc... /bin/moc
fgrep: /bin/moc: No such file or directory
configure: error:

The Qt meta object compiler (moc)
        /bin/moc
found by configure is not the one part of Qt 2.1.x.

It's likely that the found one is the one shipped with
Qt 1.xx. That one will not work.

        Please check your installation.
Use the --with-qt-moc option to specify the path and name
of the moc compiler shipped with your Qt 2.1 lib.
Some distributions rename it to "moc2", maybe you find that
        on your system.

        see ./configure --help for details.

It seems not to recognize the QT3 moc. And I'm unwilling to use a QT2
moc with the rest of QT being QT3-based. Have you an idea in order to
complete the compilation with QT3 or am I condamned to use QT2 and KDE2
?

Thanks in advance,
