I have had the same problem.
cd .../plugin/qt-gui
unset KDEDIR
./configure --with-kde
make
make install

should resolve your problems.

if KDEDIR is set to /opt/kde
configure takes includes from /opt/kde2/include
and libs from /opt/kde/lib
