Ok, to start this off and save an awful lot
of typing and cut'n'paste of error messages,
rpm info, directory listings etc etc,
has anyone on this list had any luck getting
a CVS build of licq to work under Mandrake 8.2?

I have the appropriate qt2 libraries,
I have the appropriate entry in /etc/ld.so.config,
the package compiles sucessfully,
yet when I run the binary I get the error;

[ERR] Unable to load plugin (qt-gui):
/usr/local/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so:
undefined symbol: _ZN7QWidget5eventEP6QEvent.

Yes, I have read the licq source docco and qt plugin
docco and yes I have seen where it mentions this
error and yes I have followed all the instructions
and checked the versions and placement of the libraries.

1. Is the fact that licq is installed to /usr/local
rather than /usr going to cause this? I doubt it but
hey...

2. Broken Mandrake qt2 package? How would I tell if
this was the case?

Thanks!

Alternatively if there is a prebuilt binary RPM for the 1.1.0
for either Redhat or Mandrake?
