The KDE Plugin that allows Licq to dock into kicker, doesn't work in KDE 3
using Licq 1.04. I've noticed that it works in the latest CVS versions, but I
really would like this feature to work in 1.04.

The reason is that, in the company I work for, we use Iserverd, an open-source
ICQ server for internal instant messaging. This server understands the ICQ
V3G and V5 (in other words, the ICQ Groupware and ICQ 99) protocols. But the
latest CVS versions of Licq don't talk any of these protocols, only newer
ones.

I have several users running Licq and they are used to having Licq docked into
kicker. I want to upgrade their KDE to version 3, but this problem is an
obstacle. It may seem that this is a minor problem, but when you are trying
to seduce Windows users to work with Linux these small details count.

I was wondering if there was any CVS version whose kde-plugin worked with KDE
3 and, at the same time, was compatible with the V5 protocol. If there was,
how can I get it?

Thank you,
Paulo Rocha
