I agree. Not everything comes out in binary. Compile is easy. A few things 
to know:

1. Read the documents!
2. Compile: configure
          : make
          : su (root account), then type: make install
          : then it should be done, but for Licq, you have to do the GUI
            compilation too if I remember correctly.
