Hi everyone,

I still cannot get onto ICQ at all.
This is what happenes:

08:07:15: [SRV] Requesting logon (#7747)...
08:07:15: [SRV] Connecting to login server.
08:07:15: [SRV] Resolving login.icq.com port 5190...
08:07:15: [SRV] ICQ server found at 205.188.179.233:5190.
08:07:15: [SRV] Opening socket to server.
08:07:15: [SRV] Authenticated. Connecting to 205.188.10.46 port 5190.
08:07:15: [SRV] Resolving 205.188.10.46 port 5190...
08:07:15: [SRV] ICQ server found at 205.188.10.46:5190.
08:07:15: [SRV] Opening socket to server.
08:07:15: [SRV] Server says he's ready.
08:07:15: [SRV] Sending our channel capability list...
08:07:15: [SRV] Requesting rate info...
08:07:15: [WRN] error during receiving from server socket :-((
                Connection reset by peer
08:07:15: [SRV] Dropping server connection.

The system in question is Solaris 9 (Sparc), software compiled with
gcc/g++ version 2.95.3 20010315 (release).

I'm only using the console plugin.

Does anyone have any clue why I get the 'error during receiving' ?
Is this the remote server who doesn't like something that's said
during the login procedure? Or is there a problem with the socket code?

This always worked for me under Solaris 8 but unfortunately I cannot
revert back to that.

To answer an earlier question: I do not have any other client that I
can test this with, suggestions welcome.

Regards, Paul Boven.
