You can edit ~/.licq/licq.conf and in the onevent section there is a Message parameter. Enable must be set to 1. Command is the command to run and Message is the parameter to that command. I have never done this, so someone correct me if i'm wrong... if you set Command to echo -e "\a", it should perform a beep. There is a beep.c program on the website as well IIRC.
