Hi List,
i downloaded and compiled LICQ.
I configured LICQ to work with a proxy server. If i want to set LICQ online
i get following
messages in the networkwindow:
13:13:36: [INI] Qt GUI configuration.
13:13:36: [INI] Geometry configuration (100, 100) (150 x 400)
13:13:37: [INI] Applying basic skin.
13:13:43: [SRV] Requesting logon (#3952)...
13:13:43: [SRV] Connecting to login server.
13:13:43: [INI] Resolving proxy: proxy10b.wdf.sap.corp:8080...
13:13:43: [SRV] Resolving login.icq.com port 443...
13:13:43: [ERR] Unable to resolve login.icq.com:
Unknown Client (translated from German ;-) ).
13:13:43: [SRV] Connecting to login server failed, failing event
As far as i understand the messages LICQ is able to find the proxy, but not
able to connect to the
ICQ-Server. Why ?
I run successful ICQ under VMWare on the same machine with the same proxy.
I set also env for $HTTP_PROXY.
Any hints?
