Hello Simo,

this most likely happens due to two reasons:

1. there is an old licq daemon laying around in your system (maybe installed
from your vendor CDs). the standard location for licq is /usr/local/bin/licq.
as user please start "which licq" and "locate licq | grep bin" and make sure
there is only one binary laying around and make sure that it is the binary
which you compiled! if in doubt, please remove all licq binaries and start
from the beginning.

2. you did recompile the gui without recompiling the daemon. in most cases
this leads to these undefined symbols.

in both cases it should help, if you remove _all_ licq stuff from your
computer and start again from the beginning.

Hope this helps. If not, please come back and tell us :)

Thomas
