That is quite simple. Make sure you have g++, make and cvs installed, so that you can compile LICQ. Following the instructions at http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=254 you should perform the followiung steps: 1) cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/licq login Press enter when asked for password. 2) cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/licq co licq 3) cd licq 4) make -f Makefile.cvs 5) ./configure 6) make && make install The latter one has to happen as user root and will install LICQ under /usr/local 7) cd plugins/qt-gui 8) make -f Makefile.cvs 9) ./configure or if you have KDE with headers installed: ./configure --with-kde 10) make && make install The latter one also has to be run by user root. That should do it.
