I should render a standard-reply for this ;-) Your password probably is longer than 8 characters, isn't it? Please start licq, don't go online. Click system-menu -> system functions -> password/security options. check the box "local changes only" and then change your password. only use your first 8 characters of your pass. then try to logon (go online). if this does not help, please go to the icq.com website and find the "forgot password" function and use it. they will send you your password to your email adress. use this to log on with licq. thomas
