I don't see the point of it being sent as a spam since it only suggests updating software from ICQ's own website, not a third-party website. When was the last time a spammer did you a favor? Also, I have never received a spam sent in this matter, not showing a sender UIN. It came in as a system message. Perhaps it is being sent to ICQ users that are not running the latest official client.
