I just tried to register using just the web site, and it keeps failing.
First, the it claims I have not typed the word in the image, but using
the back button there is no doubt I had done so correctly. On the second
attempt, I get a page saying
ICQ Registration - An Error Had Occured
---------------------------------------
An error had occured, please go back and try again.
(it is their typoo "had", twice.)
I wonder if all my problems started because I could not submit the user
data because the server had crashed just after assigning me an ICQ
number.
Strange that they can't get it up in 16 hours, but that is perhaps
because it was Sunday, and now it is still early Monday morning if the
servers are on the West coast of the USA.
Regards, Enrique
