Both my father and I have Mandriva 2005LE installed on our computers and thus use the licq 1.3.0 package that comes with it. We have tried while both of us were using Mandriva to establish contact so that we could chat directly, but we have not had any success. The message on the chat screen is "waiting for other party to connect," or something to that effect, although a connection is never established. Is there some manual setting one or both of us needs to make, or does one of us need to be in Windows using ICQ before we can make a direct connection?
