thanks a lot for your help. Licq still won't run but I am one step further.

I have tried it but the system said something like "unknown command 
g++". After installing the c++ compiler the echo was "Worked". Now 
./configure is okay but with errors at the end. "make" also had errors 
and after "make install" (as root) there was something like "unknown 
command" after typing "licq -h"

Tomorrow I will try the rpm from Opensuse.
