This still happens in latest svn with both qt-gui and qt4-gui.
The offset from saved position seems to be the same size as the title bar
and window frame.
For me I normally have the window in the upper left corner and it always
starts 20-30 pixels lower and 2-3 pixel right of the corner postition.
