New description:
Hi.
I'm using Licq 1.2.4 and sending a file with the size
of 150 kb to a friend behind a firewall. He has
configured his Licq to a specific port range that he
have opened for the public just so that file transfers
should be possible. He have recieved files from
Mirabilis ICQ client but when I'm sending my file Licq
hangs and takes all my swap and memory space and top
shows an activity of like 4 procent.
Unfortunaly the program never crash so I couldn't
retrieve any licq.core.

Assuming this old bug is fixed by now (as implied in comment:2).
