Just as an idea for future versions for licq - it would be great to have
these values stored in a config file so users can change it more easily -
just as e.g. Kopete does (see
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165502#c26, pasted below):

I can connect again with 0.12.7 after simply adding the default ICQ
version from trunk to ~/.kde/share/config/kopeterc:
