I have a startup that's working on an online database app that does CRUD, creates charts and graphs, and does some data processing work. It involves fairly extensive role-based access control. I'm hoping to use a lot of Comet.
I have a Rails version, but I want to rewrite it completely in Lift/Scala with JPA/Hibernate and JFreeCharts (among other things). I suddenly find myself under a deadline. I need to have something done by Oct 31, and something more substantial by Nov 17. I'd like to go public with the site by the end of the year. My progress in Scala/Lift has been slower than I'd hoped thanks to a heavy workload in other areas (and maybe I'm just dense). I am very close, but just not close enough. So I am looking to see if anyone wants to partner up. I'd need someone whose understanding of Lift/Scala is *much* better than mine. I don't just need another pair of hands. What I bring to the table is familiarity with the domain (and four years experience), good programming skills, excellent interface skills, and all the connections needed to pull this off. If anyone on this list is interested in learning more or discussing the possibilities, please contact me off list at chas at munat dot com and put [LIFT] in the subject line (so your email doesn't end up in the spam bin). I am in Seattle, Washington. Thanks. Chas. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Lift" group.
