It's not strictly Lift question... Is connection pool a feature of MySQL JDBC driver? It is a feature of MySQL ODBC driver... Looking into this article http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/articles/connection_pooling_with_connectorj.html it's not clear to me wheather connection pool is implemented in application server or in driver itself. I'm planning on writing own application server and don't know if I need to worry about implementing connection pooling or not.
