Folks,
This error "failed to find baseUri for ..." that showed up during Lift
site build ("mvn site") should go away with the new vscaladoc
packageLinkDefs mechanism we have in the master now.
Earlier we had a single top level property file for the purpose which
relied on the fact that the location of the modules are relative to each
other (and their parent) during build. Firstly, this might not be true
in a Maven based project (Lift build doesn't do relative resolution
anymore). Secondly, these properties are expected to be in proximity of
the package rather than 'somewhere else'.
From now on, the packageLinkDefs.properties would be a 'per-module'
configuration instead of the top level configuration.
Feel free to update the src/packageLinkDefs.properties to suit your
respective modules.
Cheers, Indrajit
NB: This is not yet done for lift-examples. IMHO, we don't need to
generate site for examples. But have left it 'as is' with the intention
of taking the examples off as separate project sometime later.
