It would seem that this error is the main problem that has to be solved:
Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.
socketConnect(Native Method)
This should have nothing to do with the web framework, as it seems that the
driver just can't connect to the database.
