The current GC liveliness entrypoint is in LiftServlet.handleAjax() which calls liftSession.updateFuncByOwner().
There's no extension point for what you want at the moment although it would be fairly easy to add something to LiftSession. The closest thing right now is LiftSession.onBeginServicing where you can add you own function and correlate the request session id with the objects in your own application.
