Everyone, Hello from NYC. I wish I would have attended the Reston, VA Lift Off, but it was a bit before I looked seriously at Scala/Lift.
(Now I've got our company using it internally and for clients soon.) In any case, I've got some PHP/ActionScript devs on my team interested in Scala/Lift, and I'll be making my first trip to San Fran for DrupalCon San Francisco, which is from April 19th - 21st. If you can't find a suitable Java event to put things around, I'd definitely try to find a way to attend if it was within a week of DrupalCon, and I'd also try to drag as many PHP devs as possible.
