Hi Indrajit,

I think you're right.  I didn't notice at first, but there are documented 
breaking changes in jQuery 1.4 which are outlined here: 
http://jquery14.com/day-01/jquery-14#backwards

Marius, there's also a backward compatibility plugin(see above link) that might 
address the jstree issues if you do want to use 1.4.1
