SFinGe (Synthetic Fingerprint Generator) is a novel method for the
generation of synthetic fingerprint images ("sfinge" is the Italian for
"sphinx").
Testing a fingerprint recognition algorithm requires a large database of
samples (thousands or tens of thousands), due to the small errors which
have to be estimated, but collecting large databases of fingerprint images
is:
- expensive both in terms of money and time;
- boring for both the people involved and for the volunteers, which are
usually submitted to several acquisition sessions at different dates;
- delicate due to the privacy legislation which protects such personal data.
The love of doughnuts is shared by people around the world. For example, in
the US, we have our Boston cream doughnuts and Long Johns; in Italy, they
have zeppole; and in Mexico they have churros. But have you ever heard of
sfinge? Danielle Renov, food blogger and author of the cookbook Peas, Love
and Carrots shared her recipe for these Moroccan deep-fried delights.

Danielle grew up eating sfinge with her family during Hanukkah. Today, she
says she can close her eyes and be transported back to the windy mountain
roads of Morocco where men and women enjoy sfinge daily with hot tea from
shops that speckle the roadsides.
While sfinge are eaten daily in Morocco as a snack or with breakfast
alongside a hot cup of morning tea, sfinge are also commonly served around
Hanukkah.(new Image()).src = '

Both are made using a yeasted, fried dough and result in an incredibly
light, spongy doughnut. But they do have a handful of distinct differences.
In Morocco, sfinge are always formed into a ring and most commonly coated
in granulated sugar or soaked in honey. (Learn more about Moroccan food.)
In Italy, on the other hand, zeppole are typically shaped into a simple
ball of dough or piped into a rosette using a pastry bag fitted with a star
tip. Then, zeppole are dusted with powdered sugar or filled with jelly,
custard or pastry cream. In certain regions of Italy, zeppole can also
refer to baked versions of this traditionally fried treat.
*FARINI* has a modern, simple and contemporary look that is suitable for
all types of environments. Especially proposed for larger dimensions, its
delicate components gives depth to the fabric and its texture with a

We are proud to announce availability of the Sphinx 2.0.4-release another
version of the 2.0.x branch which contains several major fixes and many
other minor improvements. Upgrading to this latest release is highly
recommended for those utilizing Real-Time Indexes.
Have ready a baking sheet or platter lined with paper towels. Heat 2 to 3
inches of oil to medium-hot (340 F / 170 C) in a medium, high-sided
saucepan. The oil should not be too hot; otherwise the sfince will brown on
the outside before they are fully cooked. The depth of the oil is also
important, as the dollops of batter will expand greatly as they fry. When
the oil is ready, drop two or three walnut-sized nuggets of batter into the
pot. I use two spoons one to scoop up the batter and the other to scrape it
into the oil. Fry the sfince, turning them every so often with a fork or
the edge of a spider, for 5 to 6 minutes. It will take them this long to
inflate (and, in some cases, partially split) into fully cooked, airy
puffs. Transfer the sfince to the paper towel-lined baking sheet. Fry the
remaining sfince, a few at a time, and drain them on the paper towels.
The traditional dessert for St. Joseph's Day is a cream puff known as *Sfinge
di San Giuseppe.* In some areas it is fried, but this version is a puff
pastry. This treat is a must for the tradition of St. Joseph's Table or
Altar.
A Sphinx appears as a small location in the desert. In the Master System
version and in the remake, she contains a treasure chest with a heart,
while the Game Gear version contains a key that can be used to enter the
pyramid. She also contains a secret area that can be accessed with the
Thunder Saber.
If a wrong answer is given, the Sphinx will open the floor, making Asha
fall on the spikes below and lose one heart. If the player is fast enough,
it is possible to avoid falling on the spikes. To take the quiz again, Asha
must wash her face on the water near the spikes (which is an achievement in
the Xbox version) or leave the area and return.
Today, just like panettone and sfinge, whether store-bought or homemade,
the cuccidati still grace Italian tabletops on Christmas Eve. Hopefully,
they will grace yours too. Buon Natale from our family to yours!

If you want to contribute
*Patreon link: ** _NSFW*
question: I would like to purchase the full version of chapter 1 to show
support but I don't use Patreon. I wanted to know if the full version of
chapter 1 would be included in the steam version of the game ( like having
the Patreon story stuff) and if there is any expected time for release.
Hi, yes, the game will be complete in the steam version, it will include
the Patreon quests, renamed for the occasion in "Secondary quests".
And for the release date, it will be in the year, we do not know yet when.
I'll give you a preview as soon as possible :)
*Italian:* Non credo...
Myth is opposed to religion: it is not a dogma, a mandatory belief. Myths
may vary from one version to another without calling into question the
general belief system. A good example of this is the reimagining of the
myths of the magical papyri. 10 Casadio discusses the adaptation of the
myth of Myrrha in the ritual that derives from the Parisian great magical
papyrus. In it, myrrha refers to the aromatic gum-resin that burns during
the ritual and to the heroine in the cities of Myrrha or Smyrna.
Some papers give imprecise information. For example, Cantilena (p. 50)
compares the story of Patroclus appearing in spirit form in the penultimate
episode of the *Iliad* with Gilgamesh and Enkidu in the last tablet (XII)
of *Gilgamesh*. He states that this parallel supports the thesis that the
*Iliad* is not related to the most ancient versions (Sumerian and
Old-Babylonian), but to the 'classical version'. However, what Cantilena
means by 'classical version' is not specified; nor is the question of why
there is disagreement among scholars about whether we should consider the
last tablet (XII) as part of the saga or not. 11
