Hi, I have searched and tried many ways to achieve a transparent background for the greeter during remote access but couldn't reach any solution. What I want is to have only the login panel during remote access via XDMCP. I could make the top panel transparent with css but I couldn't change the background of the monitor with css. In configuration file, I tested by assigning the background with #FFFFFFFF to have it transparent but didn't work. I also tried using a transparent PNG image but that also didn't work. What I am getting in all my tries is a black background. I have downloaded the source code to edit and recompile but I couldn't figure out which parts to change to remove the monitor background totally or make it transparent.
