Using this configuration auto-login was working... [SeatDefaults] autologin-user=foo autologin-user-timeout=1 greeter-session=lightdm-gtk-greeter user-session=ubuntu After the upgrade it stopped working. No countdown, no auto-login. Just sits on the login screen. This is on 12.04 LTS.
