To the non-believer it proves nothing. But to the believer it says that the
one true God gave two testaments to man to live by, and He inspired his
prophets/disciples for over a thousand years to write them. The end product
being what we have now-The Bible. A continually revealing book that stands
up against all scrutiny , and of course, I believe it's the one and only
path to the one true spirituality we all seek.
I have to comment on your statements regarding marijuana. Yes we should all
have the right to use if we desire. We are free????? The war on drugs is
an attack on the individual civil liberties of a free and sovereign country.
A way of life that doesn't work in the newly planned World Government.
But marijuana is also a drug, which like all drugs, is an escape from
reality. An altering of the senses. I should know, I've done my fare
share. We really don't know that much about it. What we do know is that
there are over a 100 unknown substances in MJ that we have no clue what
they do. Its the only drug that is fat soluble. All other drugs dissolve
in water and leave your system rather quickly. MJ actually hangs around for
quite a while. A test done on airplane pilots and the effects of marijuana
on their performance found that even after a week of smoking 1 marijuana
cigarette their ability to fly was (measurably) altered. Another test on
apes (in the 60s) showed that THC is absorbed by the fat in the wall of a
brain cell, slows down the communication between the cells and takes a very
long time for the THC to be removed. Note that these test were done way
before the THC reached very high levels.
