I just got this site last week in the newsletter distributed by my ISP. I looked at the site a little and it's well done. Not a cheap site, and there's a French version available, too. It has a horizontally scrolling time line with thumbnail-sized representations of the full-sized image laid out at the appropriate time in history. When you click an image, the page changes and places an image map of the full picture on the screen and you can click various areas which will give you a closer view of that portion, along with comments on the findings in those areas. Overall it looks like an enjoyable and cultured site for those interested in ancient Egyptian art. Here is the excerpt from the Earthlink newsletter: ================================================================================ http://www.oldkingdom.com/ This is the first international exhibition devoted to Egyptian art of the Old Kingdom, the period in which the Great Pyramids were built (2700-2200 BC). An interactive visit to some of the masterpieces on display. A booking service and a boutique with over a thousand art-related gifts also await you on this site. ================================================================================ Damon -- = [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Alternate E-Mail - [EMAIL PROTECTED] = ICQ# 18405845 / ICQ Pager [EMAIL PROTECTED] < 450 characters = ICQ Homepage and Contact Info - http://wwp.mirabilis.com/18405845 = AOL Instant Messenger Screen Name - Raindraake
