Dear Friends,
It has been very quiet on the list lately and
this is a check to see if anyone is still out there.
I realize that we all get busy in our personal lives,
but I think that it is important that we keep in touch.
I know that a lot has been going on this summer,
including the marriage of my son. I also know that
there are many things going on in the world worth
discussing. I miss the different perspectives, as
it causes me to think, ponder and sometimes form
a totally new perspective as a result.
Today as I watched the news concerning
the Kennedy's it made me realize how precious
life truly is. The nation grieves over someone we
all felt was part of our lives, even though I personally
never spoke to or communicated with, in this lifetime.
It leads me to ponder my tenet that people are
basically caring and loving, what is taken for
apathy and/or hostility, is quite simply a lack of
connection. Once the connection is made we all
feel something..
Bearing this in mind I write this letter, so that
my connection can be strengthened through as
many as I can reach with my words.
There are no stipulations on this list that
the topic be of a spiritual nature, for in reality
isn't everything concerning spirit? It is nice to
just share our lives, our successes and failures.
No judgment, just listening and perhaps learning...
