Hi all :))))))))
I seems that I have been busy finding my direction this summer. All my
life I have wanted to a writer. I'm not sure what stopped me .... but
once I started ... just try and stop me <VBG>
About Shirley .... I am blessed to have her as a friend! She's stubborn
(Libra with Leo rising and a Scorpio moon) ... but when she comes to an
understanding about her growth process ... watch out ... she zooms!
When she broke her arms I took her to the hospital and had a remarkable
experience. We had to wait in the cast room for about 2 hours before
the doctor could get to her (there was a local rodeo ... people break
bones at rodeos). While we were waiting, Shirl was in a lot of pain. I
"saw" my mother who died in 1985 and was a nurse, walk into the room and
hold Shirl's wrist as if she were taking her pulse. It was one of the
more painful areas of her arm. She was dressed in her white nurses
shoes, cap, and dress. She smiled throughout the whole time. When the
doctor arrived she left and said Shirl would be OK now (but in reality
she wasn't "OK" until I got her down to Arctic Circle for a milk shake
:))). I was quite an experience and I will never forget it.
Oh yeah ... as we were leaving the cast room ...Shirl who is now feeling
fine from the shot of demerol looks at the rodeo cowboy with broken leg
in the next bed and says, "You should of seen the bull I was riding!!
:)))
