Super Strings, Consciousness, Walk-ins. What do the elements super string theory, consciousness, and walk-ins have in common? They belong to a model. This model suggests that "strings" are the mechanisms that consciousness and walk-ins use to experience life in form. To begin, we will briefly describe each element. Strings Super string theory arrived around 1984. Edward Witten said, "String theory is twenty-first century physics that fell accidentally into the twentieth century." Our brightest minds still do not understand it, although scientists continue to round out the theory. Simply put, string theory states that we live in a ten dimensional universe. Strings are the smallest "energy/particles" that exist. These vibrating, multidimensional strings stretch through the dimensions and, when they wiggle in our world, they manifest as matter. Everything in the universe is the result of these wiggling, multidimensional strings. Although string theory predicts that the higher dimensions are infinitesimally small, our model suggests that what scientists are seeing in their calculations are *doorways* to the other dimensions, not the dimensions themselves. Consciousness Broadly speaking, consciousness is the ability to be aware of something. No one knows for certain where consciousness originates or even what it is. The scientific community is frantically trying to solve this mystery. Being materialistic, brain science seeks to find the spot in the brain where consciousness resides or originates and to discover its nature. Walk-ins A walk-in happens when an other-dimensional being projects its consciousness into the mind of a human being. In effect, a new person is there. The Model The model that connects these three elements goes like this: Non-material beings exist on the higher dimensions. These entities are unlike the biological creatures with which we are familiar. They are governed by other, more liberal natural laws. Using strings - or more precisely, bundles of strings - they project their awareness into creatures that live in the lower dimensions. The brain plays a part in this process. It acts as a sophisticated, biological interface between consciousness and material reality. A piece of non-biological equipment is also involved. The mental body, which sits slightly above our head, acts as a transformer between strings and the brain. Physically, the bigger or more developed the brain, the greater the capacity to know stuff. On earth, humans are on top of the awareness heap. Plants and other creatures without brains demonstrate a more diffuse consciousness, what science calls instincts. Science, however, does not consider this to be a form of consciousness. Other-dimensional beings do not need much skill to project their consciousness. It is second nature to them. Some can project down several bundles at once. A ninth-dimensional entity, for example, can handle billions of projections simultaneously. Imagine if your "higher self" was one of these higher-dimensional beings that had projected its consciousness into your body at birth. Walk-ins demonstrate this process vividly. One of these higher-dimensional beings streams its awareness down a string and into your head and, voila!, you are someone else. When you compare "normal" conscious experience to the walk-in experience, the latter is more dramatic because "normal" people have lived many years in their body. They are used to being human, more or less. Many have forgotten their original, higher state. But they have not forgotten entirely. The memory of "something higher" drives them to seek the truth. And the truth is their real self. A Fantasy Before closing, I want to share a myth with you. You open your eyes. You are floating in an immense ocean of space, an endless expanse of sparkling golden and white light. Welcome to the Eighth Dimension. In front of you, a purple, streaming vortex twirls by, throwing off layers of vibrating, indigo material. Suddenly, it vanishes, slipping momentarily into another dimension. Then, just as suddenly, it reappears. This vortex, you feel, is somehow Holy, and you have an urge to touch it. But, your inner voice cautions you. It warns that you would die of ecstasy if you did. You refrain. Soon, you spot something else. The name "Group Wizard" coagulates in your head. The name has a whimsical ring to it, but you realize that it describes the entity well. This being consists of millions of individuals in one body - a Group Soul. You watch as countless spheres of golden light dart incessantly in more directions than you thought existed. The spheres are alive and radiating iridescent rainbows. They dazzle your eyes. They bathe your body in exotic textures, energies, sounds, feelings, and data. The experience overwhelms you. (Note: The Group Wizard is like your body - composed of countless, conscious cells. Like you, this being is more than the sum of its cells. In the "body" of a Group Wizard, each "cell" is an individual with capacities and skills that we cannot imagine. They work together as one, their purpose stretching beyond our grasp of time.) As you recover, you notice that the shape of the individuals is not perfectly spherical. They stretch now and then. When they do, they begin to vibrate rapidly in the lengthened area. This makes them appear as if that part of their body is "in between states," like water transforming into vapor. Indeed, the longer you stare at them, the more you realize that they are not spherical at all. You realize, now that your eyes are becoming accustomed to the light, that it is impossible to describe them. The Group has now given you the ability to see through their "eyes." You watch and experience their joy as they extend their awareness down waving lines that are made of bright blue, neon light. One of the individuals - your guide - speaks with you telepathically. "He" explains that they explore most regions of the universe in that way. They do this partly in wonder, partly for the Plan. You sense that wonder and the Plan are two aspects of the same process. You soon realize that your guide is not using mere telepathy to communicate with you. He is transferring much more than just information. The Group is injecting you with wisdom juice. Its cumulative effect is bliss! Through this omnipresent link, you learn that each member is intimately bonded with every other. Each gives and receives instantaneously an unbroken stream of eighth-dimensional data (and other experience) to every other individual. The wisdom and humility of this species are renowned in all dimensions. Your guide summons you and lovingly suggests that you return to earth. You know that he speaks the truth, so reluctantly you close your eyes and wake up here again. That ends the adventure for now. Stay tuned.
