Could you please turn up the log level using the following? This will provide us more information to trouble-shoot this issue. /opt/likewise/bin/lw-set-log-level verbose OR /opt/likewise/bin/lw-set-log-level debug /opt/likewise/bin/lw-get-log-info shows what the current log settings are. The user enumeration is using LDAP queries only. Whereas the lookup by user name uses some calls using DCE/RPC, where we get the SID using the name. The extra output would be useful.
