He's talking about the lwicompat_vXX libs that are
necessary for Samba 3.0.x.  These aren't necessary (as you
said) for Samba 3.2 but then we also need to supply the NTLM
support to  libwbclient in Likewise 5.0.

Joshua, what Samba version are you using?
