Here is the tweak to obtain the correct aspect for the numbers (2 lines of
code only).
Two problems I found :
1) Alignement is not exactly the same as the one provided by PercentRepeats.
2) As you said, the first bar cannot be numbered…
I will try to examine it more deeply, but it is already very encouraging!

What about an individual counter function, or a “start numbering from
number N” enhancement?
