Pushed as bbd26f33a3141a7e7399cf669bb3eb68d445356c by Janek, who forgot to  
tell anyone, apparently!  Now I know why Aleksandr's apparently unaltered  
patch wouldn't apply today.

@Aleksandr: you should also close the Rietveld issue, please.
