Regarding comment #33: this appears fixed, so it does not seem like it
would require opening an issue. In mailing list communication, however,
the attached file fails to produce any slur (engraver added to make sure
all slurs arrive as events). Keith stated that this was due to checking
direction on slur grobs which are not necessarily identical to a direction
given on slur events (or no direction given) since they may depend on later
calculations.
So this needs revisiting.
