"Incorporated" is misleading in this context. I have basically done a
fresh rewrite of that passage triggered by more extensive changes, so this
patch does not apply at all any more. It is likely mostly a toss-up which
version is better. If someone wanted to rewrite the whole thing again,
this patch might provide a bit of inspiration, but it would seem that the
information is pretty much in anyway, and likely the concerns voiced over
the initial patch remain at least as valid so that it would have been
easier to commit it anyway and leave the requested polishing for later
revisions or other volunteers, since that is pretty likely the current
state anyway.
Water down the drawbridge. Since the original request and the patch do no
longer apply, I am marking this as Invalid.
