When building GUB, LilyPond's configure output should be checked, especially NCSB fonts search; if it prints a warning because the fonts don't contain Cyrillic characters, then the correct ones will need to be added in GUB.
I'm moving home today in a rush, so if it's OK I'll wait for either a second LGTM from a core developer or the countdown before pushing, i.e. between Monday and Thursday.
