Another solution is removing the link and use a mouse-over bubble instead, as suggested for website examples here: http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1834#c4
Maybe it could be possible to show only the relevant part of the snippet and possibly add a button to save the snippet to the clipboard
