The fact that these issues were fixed in a single patch is unfortunate;
they are really quite different. The problem reported was that files
converted from .xml to .ly showed the chord symbols below the staff instead
of above the staff.
To verify: check the regression tests at
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.15/input/regression/musicxml/collated-files.html
that chord symbols appear above the staff, and not below, for example in
the Guitar notation section. See that this is fixed compared to
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.14/input/regression/musicxml/collated-files.html
