2.17 searches 2.17 documents according to the named commit. Some of the
previous searches were on 2.12, some on 2.14, some on 2.15, mostly
depending on documentation language. One would have to make sure that
there is no "stable/unstable" label on the respective search boxes
involved, and if it is, go for 2.16/2.17 respectively. I am marking this
issue "Backport" in order not to lose track of it, though it is not
actually a Backport that is needed here, but something hand-tailored for
2.16.
