Perhaps a misunderstanding: I neither oppose to the glyph name nor to the glyph shape. I only want to mention the possible origin of this glyph.
However, i will *never* use it since it resembles far too much the `OK' or `done' symbol. For me, a breathing sign is either the comma or a *symmetrical* shape similar to the up-bow symbol. But this is my personal taste, so please ignore :-)
