The adding of lyrics itself does not actually change the fingering. Check
out the attached version which works just fine.
Instead it would appear that using \lyricsto for associating the context
and letting it determine the rhythm of the lyrics is responsible.
That is definitely weird enough not to be a documentation problem but a
mala fide bug.
