Ugh. At any rate, issue 2990 has no owner, and there is nothing in the
issue report to suggest anybody is working on it. This is very simple and
straightforward input to LilyPond, and having it crash is really, really
bad. If the most basic templates for \RemoveEmptyStaves crash, this
functionality cannot really be called working.
