I am working on the aspect of
programming error: Cannot find key `"a6landscape"' in alist, setting to
`#f'.

programming error: cannot evaluate "#f" in module "#<module b61fc630>",
setting
to "(148.0 . 105.0)"

that basically means that specifying _any_ landscape format on the command
line will cause problems.
That will not fix the "Even without the landscape option there are some
scaling / collision issues." problem. However, that problem description is
_way_ to vague to act upon. I would recommend that you file a separate bug
report for that including example code and problem description not relying
on the landscape bug. I am making this bug report here refer just to the
landscape on command line problem since that part of the problem report is
clearly identifiable and actionable.
