Well, you are right – technically speaking.

I think I wrote this example and I didn't choose the cis because
a dampened note with an accidental looks weird.

Is there any reference about notating such dampened strings?
Another option is to write the dampened string with its
sounding pitch – tablature looks unchanged, but the notation is
weird either:

< a \deadNote b a' >4
< b\3 \deadNote b b' >
< c\3 \deadNote b c' >


But the string numbers surely can be omitted, that's true.

I'll reset the status to 'Started', anyway.
