There are no comments on Rietveld or the issue itself, so setting to
Patch-push. I seem to remember some mailing list discussion or discussion
of some other issue where this patch was called into question, but it does
not appear to have made it here.
Feel free to take this into account if you remember anything of that kind
and do the right thing with this patch (which may well be pushing it, but
could be something else).
