I'm fine if you want to merge them, Mike.
I thought, based on your posts to the bug-lilypond thread, that this issue,
3188, was due to something in the new skyline code, whereas 1669 is almost
two years old.
I just do bug reports; you're the expert when it comes to judging an
underlying common cause.
